Fair play to Fling
What does Fling do well?
Fling’s own site defines a fling as “a casual involvement”, and the rest of the site plays along.
- Video rooms. Public and private rooms, a cam2cam option and tipping sit beside ordinary messages.
- Look before you commit. Fling says you can wander through members before paying anything.
- A store app, if you like one. There is an iPhone app, an Android app and a home-screen version of the site.
- A long track record. The Internet Archive holds a Fling page from June 2006, billed then as an adult personals site.
- Discreet profiles. One setting limits your photos to your friends list.
- Plain filters. Search by age, religion and whether someone wants friends or something serious.
Our side
How does Naughty Singles go about it?
A site in your browser rather than a store download, with suggestions that take your wishes into account.
Naughty Singles has been online since 2014, and more than 1,200 members are on the site. Each day it suggests people by looking at age range, distance, how recently someone was around and which kind of relationship they want, from casual through to friendship.
You open it like any website and can pin it to your home screen. Our hookup app page shows the taps. Phone apps exist in selected markets only, so a store listing is not something to rely on.
- Plans in three steps. Classic, VIP and VIP Plus. What each costs is on the pricing page.
- Checks you choose. Finish the free ID check for a Verified badge, or let a moderator confirm you by video without sending papers.
- Details stay yours. A username replaces your name, and people see only your nearest town or city.
The features page sets out what each level adds, and the safety page lists every protection.

Fling questions, answered
Is Fling free?
Fling says joining and browsing cost nothing, and its terms add that a paid membership is needed to start or read conversations. It also sells extras such as priority messaging and tips in video chat, with its prices on its own pages. Our plans are on the pricing page.
Is Fling a real dating site?
Yes, it is a live site, and the Internet Archive has a copy from 2006. Its iPhone and Android apps are published by Dime Systems, and it says a review team works around the clock. As with any dating site, read the terms, never send money and meet in public.
Is Fling an app or a website?
Both. Fling works in a browser, has an iPhone app and an Android app, and offers a version you add to your home screen. Naughty Singles is a website you can pin to your home screen, so there is nothing to download from a store.
Does Fling have video chat?
Yes. Fling lists public and private video chat rooms, a cam2cam option and a tipping feature. Naughty Singles does not list video chat as a feature; it uses a live video check with a moderator to verify members who want a badge, and VIP members get chat rooms and group chats.
Can I use Fling and Naughty Singles together?
They are separate sites with separate accounts, so you can build a profile on each and see which conversations suit you. Keep the same habits on both: meet somewhere public, tell a friend and never send money. Our guide to whether hookup sites are safe has the checklist.
